Welcome to my Healing Animals page!
Healing animals is very rewarding, since the improvements you see are clear and there are none of those convoluted explanations as to how they weren't really ill/in pain in the first place and anyway they got better all on their own..! My first success with healing was before I learned Quantum-Touch(Reg) healing; I had an Empower disc from Coby Zvikler, and used it to stop the epileptic fits my chihuahua, Freddie, used to have fairly frequently. The Empower disc makes it easier for you to communicate with your higher self/subconscious. I've since found that commands, given with conviction, will work, with or without the disc, but back then it gave me the confidence to try.
Animals, like small children, generally respond very quickly; they're not thinking up objections as to how it can't possibly work! They just respond honestly and appreciate what you do for them, then go off about their business!
There are many times little injuries can be instantly healed in pets. When I was dog boarding, one of my charges, a Manchester terrier, had a slight sore point on her back. She wasn't keen on being touched there, though she could walk and run about with no problem. It was her first evening and she was a bit excited and not yet settled in. She jumped up on a chair to look out of the window, then slipped down and landed awkwardly on top of the video recorder. She was startled and upset, so I told her I could give her some healing and make her back feel better. I can't remember if I spoke it or thought it, but anyway, she immediately leapt up and lay across my lap, with her 'sore spot' directly under my hands!
After running energy for around 5 minutes, while she completely relaxed, she'd had enough, and got down. I checked her back, and there was no sign of any soreness. The way she responded really impressed me; coming over for hands-on healing to a complete stranger! I was later able to help a chihuahua I was looking after, again in just a couple of minutes, after he strained his back a little jumping onto the sofa.
These are relatively small injuries and the dogs may have got over them on their own; but for large animals such as horses, there are times complementary treatments may well be their last hope. See a video about using Quantum-Touch healing with horses! Injuries to the feet or legs can mean the end for a horse - because for the average owner, the costs of treatment without a guarantee of any results are too much to take on. I've worked on 3 horses. One was an ex-racer who'd had numerous falls. He had one sore spot on his back, which he didn't like anyone touching. I worked on this for around 30 minutes, and the soreness was gone. It hadn't recurred after three weeks, when I checked with his owner, either. I also worked on another horse at the same yard, who had a mystery swelling above her hoof. I didn't get to stay with her very long, but the swelling was a little better when I left. I put out a request to the universe for another contact with a horse in London, and got to work with Anna and her horse Rioya.)
If you're interested in developing your healing abilities, animals are wonderful subjects. (You must always consult a vet if there's something serious wrong with an animal, though; in fact in the U.K all animal healing must be with a vet's permission.) If you want to try your hand with insects, you might like to help bumble bees you see stranded on the ground! I once found a bee, who looked in a bad way - wings all uneven and almost no movement. I picked him up and placed him on one of my
Chi healing cards ; within a minute he was perking up, and within a short time, he had tidied up his wings and 'come to life'. He then took off like a rocket! I wish I'd had my digital camera with me to record the transformation, because it was pretty amazing. I have never seen a bee launch himself with so much energy and determination before! He went way up over the roofs of the houses opposite - quite sure of where he was going.
I took my scottie, Angus, to see a healer many years ago. Charles Siddle was a well-known spiritual healer who started a clinic in Potters Bar. He has left behind a legacy of tuition in animal healing. "The Charles Siddle Foundation for Animal Healing (CSFAH)". It offers day and weekend workshops for those interested in exploring the world of healing animals. See Beacon Healing for more details. Weekend courses happen through the year.
I successfully used homeopathy on my dog Angus, too, when he had a liver problem. The vet tried to treat him but nothing worked. He was vomiting and couldn't eat anything. In the end he just turned away from food and looked really miserable, though he must have been really hungry! So I as I was seeing a trained homeopath at the time, I asked her if she could suggest anything. We had a look through the book and came up with the remedy that sounded most appropriate - Lycopodium. One pill - just one - and Angus stopped vomiting and perked up within mimutes; in no time he was able to eat normally again. I think the placebo effect can safely be ruled out here!
There's no doubt in my mind, animal healing is a growing area and one where the rewards are great. There are many relatively minor injuries that can be healed quickly and easily; and the sooner an animal has help, the better they recover - as is true for humans, too! Learning some form of healing will help you to bond with your pets, and may help prevent problems occurring in future. You should always consult a qualified vet for anything serious, or something you're not sure about. I hope in future there will be more practices that incorporate healing as part of their service to animals!
There's nothing worse than having a dog lost or stolen; keeping positive is very difficult, which is one reason I've created Energised Pet Portraits to help you. When I was in France I sent blessings to two runaway dogs and they returned within half an hour!
If you want support in looking for your dog in the U.K, or if you've found a lost dog, you can register with DogLost.co.uk. You can find details of organisations involved in dog rescue and check to see if your lost dog has turned up anywhere. Or volunteer as a local contact to help with posters and local searches in your area.
